MICR PRINTING PACKAGE DEAL

Caprock Business Forms will offer a package deal to Quick Printers to set up for them a MICR printing operation.  The package will include providing a list of all necessary equipment and software and then setup of all equipment and software necessary to print MICR on checks and other financial documents.  The package will also include training of the Quick Printers personnel and continuing telephone support for technical problems.  Technical support will be free for one year and will continue to be free thereafter as long as the Quick Printer continues to buy at least a portion of their checkstock paper from Caprock Business Forms.  We will also sell the Quick Printer MICR HP 9050 laser cartridges which have been split and are thus rebuildable, and will rebuild these laser cartridges for a reasonable fee.  Current prices for equipment and supplies are as follows:

The Quick Printer would have to furnish a standalone dedicated computer to run the HP 9050 Laser printer, Pentium 2 or higher, at least 200 MHz, with at least 32 Meg RAM, running Windows 99ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.

The fee for setting up and training The Quick Printer's personnel is $600 plus reasonable travel expenses to the quick printer's place of business, including airfare and two night's stay at a hotel.  All equipment and software must be onsite before we come out.  Our technician will completely set up the equipment and train the operators, which it is assumed will take no more than two days.  In addition, Caprock Business Forms will provide continuing phone support to the Quick Printer at no extra charge.  Caprock Business Forms will provide cartridge rebuilding services at a reasonable fee, $200.00/cartridge at the present.  Caprock Business Forms will also sell pre-perfed checkstock paper and checkstock paper with a preprinted background at reasonable prices.  The pricing schedule for check paper is on its own webpage.  Caprock Business Forms checkstock paper is Boise Checkprotect, which has a full complement of the most common fraud prevention features.  Caprock Business Forms will also provide a selection of check background pantographs in the form of digital files, for the purpose of the Quick Printer's check typesetting and a set of software template files, enabling the Quick Printer to set up custom check jobs for all of the most popular check formats.

In sum, after our setup and training is complete, the Quick Printer will be able to print custom laser checks and other products requiring a MICR line, such as deposit slips, credit and debit slips, etc.
